On my own path to motherhood, I encountered many teachers. Across the chapters of my life, their lessons have formed around me to impart wisdom, shine bright beams of guidance and provide unconditional love and divine protection.
But perhaps my greatest teacher has been Luna. We often turn to our elders to learn, however there’s even more to learn from our children. For the past six years, I’ve grown up alongside Luna. While she has been experiencing the world for the first time – I’m experiencing a whole new world, too.
Luna has taught me to slow down, smell the roses and eat the cake. To delve deeper into the realm of my inner child in search of forgotten magic, to paint life with every colour and to let go of agenda to allow for play. There is simply no greater bond, the two of us together forever. A sentiment shared by billions, each in their own sacred way.
To all the mothers in my world, I see you, I celebrate you, I honour you and I love you. We are all part of the magic together. Happy Mother’s Day.
