Tell us about some of the most memorable moments of your styling sessions:
The happy reactions and the transformations! Seeing the customers’ faces light up when they see themselves in the mirror with a whole new look – it’s priceless. The moments of pure joy and confidence are what make the sessions so special.
When was your ‘lightbulb moment’ – when you decided that styling was your calling?
Figuring out what to wear has always came easy to me. Even as a little girl, I enjoyed playing around with clothes and putting outfits together. I used to go into my grandmother’s closet, try on all her coats, sparkly shawls, and jewellery, then demand that everyone look at the amazing outfit I just created.
Who would you love to style?
I was lucky enough to style Kate Hudson at our CAMILLA Paddington boutique, and I would love to be in the same room as Goldie Hawn. The living legend and mother of Kate, I believe she has always known how to channel the style of each decade and make it her own.
Whose style do you admire?
Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, and Sarah Jessica Parker will always be fashion icons for me.
But I would have to say the person whose style I admire the most would be the queen herself – Camilla Franks. She will forever be my ultimate inspiration. Her creative vision is so unique.
Can you tell us about your background?
I studied fashion design and business and have always worked in fashion. I’ve never strayed outside of the fashion world professionally.
Will you share something no one out there knows about you… yet
I used to be in TV commercials, I loved being in front of the camera and would secretly fantasise about being a host on a travel show like Getaway.
I absolutely love travelling and travelled the world with my husband when he was DJing across Europe.
I love getting dressed up and going out for a fantastic night of dancing, but I am, in fact, the worst dancer ever.
