SOAR LIKE AN EAGLE | COMING SOON

As the pandemic swept across the globe, we took a collective breath and focused our energies inwards, reconsidering what truly mattered to us; prioritising things like health, home, sleep, family and personal growth. Now, as borders reopen and international travel resumes, our challenge becomes: how do we stay true to these new priorities?
As print makers, storytellers, adventurers and artisans, one of our greatest joys is travelling the world and seeking out new adventures, new places, and new people.
"Travel has always served as the creative inspiration for my prints. My brand was built on experiencing the unexpected and the unknown...We immerse ourselves in worlds where we don’t often speak the same tongue, but connect through the language of textile, colour, food, and sound."
CAMILLA FRANKS
And yet, as any regular traveller will tell you: there is nothing quite like the simple pleasure of returning home. This is especially true when our home is a true representation of who we are, and of the things that matter to us.
SOAR LIKE AN EAGLE | COMING SOON
Besides elementary comforts like sleeping in your own bed after a long time away, there are countless studies which show the significant impact that our home environment can have on our cognitive, emotional and physical health.
We all know how important it is to have a clean, comfortable and healthy home. But there are benefits to having a home environment that's aesthetically pleasing too.
We're hardwired to appreciate beautiful things. Aesthetic appeal is one of the most fundamental aspects of the human experience. Being surrounded by beauty can impact our behaviour, our stress levels, recovery time, ability to learn and general wellbeing.
Basically? As far as science is concerned, you've got a free pass to make your home as beautiful as possible... whatever that means to you!
Part of the reason we've partnered with Linen House to create CAMILLA Home is to help you colour your world in as many ways as possible, especially at home.
This week, we're launching four bespoke bedding prints from Our Natural Lore collection: Soar Like an Eagle, Heart of a Dragon, Easy Tiger and Tiger Trap.
Our CAMILLA bedding pieces are all 500 thread count with cotton sateen construction, self-tailored finish and satin-stitched. The sizes include Queen, King and Super King, with luxe European pillowcases to help you complete your sanctuary.
HEART OF A DRAGON | COMING SOON
There are some simple things you can do to make your bedroom more of a haven. Light exposure can impact our circadian rhythms, so it's worthwhile investing in simple fixes to reduce light pollution in your bedroom, like block-out curtains, dimmer switches and low wattage light bulbs for lamps.
Orange and red light can also assist in preparing your mind and your body for sleep. Where possible, minimise your exposure to electronic devices in the hours before bed.
For the best rest possible, experts advise keeping your bedroom at a consistent, cool temperature of between 15.6°C and 19.4°C and investing in comfortable, good quality bedding made from natural, breathable fabrics.
