GIVE BLOOD. FIGHT CANCER. Camilla Franks x Australian Red Cross Lifeblood Campaign
GIVE BLOOD. FIGHT CANCER. Camilla Franks x Australian Red Cross Lifeblood Campaign
DID YOU KNOW?
1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, and for them, blood donations can play a vital role.
Cancer patients, as a group, are the biggest recipients of blood, plasma and platelets in Australia. That's why this February, we have partnered with Australian Red Cross Lifeblood to support this vital service.
TRUE COLOURS
From February 1 to March 5, donate blood and show your support by wearing our vibrant True Colours CAMILLA bandage and posting on social media @camillawithlove @lifebloodau #truecoloursau
IT TAKES A VILLAGE
“When I battled breast cancer in 2018 my world was turned upside down. What struck me most throughout my medical journey was the humans powering my treatment. The nurses, researchers, doctors, fellow survivors, and perfect strangers, like blood donors, you never get to meet. It takes a village to fight the big C!
What few know is that cancer patients are the largest users of Australia's blood supply. Giving blood to help another human being in their fight is such a noble thing to do.
With World Cancer Day this Saturday Feb 4th, Lifeblood’s True Colours campaign ‘Give Blood. Fight Cancer’ is so timely. It’s a call to arms, to roll up our sleeves and give our blood to support the warriors amongst us.”
WITH LOVE, CAMILLA XX
